To promote safety on the road with the school holidays coming up, PUSPAKOM is offering free vehicle checks to ensure that cars are in excellent condition to ensure maximum safety and convenience.

PUSPAKOM’s “Jom Cuti Sekolah, Singgah Dan Periksa” campaign is aimed towards those planning to drive long distances during the period by offering free voluntary vehicle inspection (VVI) from August 26 till September 1.

Those interested in having their vehicle checked may go to any PUSPAKOM branch, except those in Shah Alam, Taman Bukit Maluri and Pasir Gudang, from 8am to 5pm.

The check will focus on vehicles’ critical safety elements, including brakes, tyres, side-slip testing, suspension, emissions, lights, undercarriage and bodyshell, window tints, and other components.

In a statement, it said the campaign is also aimed at reminding road users of the importance of optimal vehicle conditions when making such long-distance trips.

Do note that this free VVI is for private vehicles only. Unlike a change of ownership or commercial vehicle inspection, no online appointments are needed for the free VVI.
