This is definitely great news!
On 16th March, the Chinese ambassador met up with our Minister of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein at Wisma Putrajaya to discuss the fight against Covid-19.
Am so happy to have received HE Ambassador Bai Tian, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China ?? in @MalaysiaMFA today. We both emphasised that Malaysia and China will strengthen cooperation in all fields but focused on our most pressing task – the fight against #COVIDー19 pic.twitter.com/skMytHc9BG

At that fateful meeting, the Chinese government said that they will be sending the Malaysian government some face masks and disinfectants to help in battling Covid-19.
Fast forward to today (19th March), the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia posted a series of photos on their Facebook page. This series of photos refer to the promise made between the two governments and it shows that they have fulfilled it!
In the post that has been shared 5.2k times within 2 hours as of the time of writing, they said:
“Action without delay! The first batch of medical materials from China is on the way to Sungai Buloh Hospital.”
Well, we are definitely grateful for the medical supplies which only took three days to arrive! Other than sending medical supplies to us, China has also been sending medical supplies to other countries such as France, Italy, Serbia, Liberia and other countries. So, thank you China!
Other than that, we urge all Malaysians to take the Movement Control Order seriously and practice social distancing religiously! If you are unclear about the order then you can call the hotline @ 03-88882010.
