PDRM On The Hunt For Man Who Damaged a Car by Throwing Rocks From Monorail Station

Recently, a Facebook user took to the platform to share how her car had been severely damaged as a result of a man who allegedly threw rocks at vehicles from the overhead bridge at a monorail station on Jalan Imbi.

According to the post, he caused a car’s window to shatter in the incident, which occurred between 12:30pm and 1:30pm. She said they were driving in a Honda Insight when they were startled by a loud bang coming from the back of the car.

“We found the rear window shattered and a rock on the passenger seat. Looking around, we saw a man throwing rocks from the monorail station’s overhead bridge. My boyfriend called the police to report the incident.”

According to the New Straits Times, acting Dang Wangi police chief Superintendent Nuzulan Mohd Din said a report was made at about 5 pm.

He said police were trying to locate the suspect.
