Finding parking can be hectic, especially during peak hours, but it’s never an excuse for you to park anywhere you deem fit and obstruct traffic. 2 similar incidents recently took place and this time, the public spotted a black Proton Saga parked in the middle of the road in Ipoh.
The public also suspects that the Saga belongs to a policeman. If you look closely at the windshield, a police vest can be seen on the dashboard. The image has since gone viral on social media, and it didn’t take long for the photo to get the attention of PDRM in Ipoh.
According to an official statement released last night (6 March), PDRM in Ipoh is now looking for the Twitter user who shared the image online to assist them in the investigation.
Police also believed that the incident happened near Sultan Abdul Aziz Recreational Park (Padang Polo), where traffic was obstructed due to the black Saga that was parked in the middle of the road. In the meantime, police have urged the Twitter user to reach out to them. In the statement, however, PDRM did not confirm nor deny if the vehicle belongs to a fellow policeman.
But they reminded the public NOT to come up with any speculation that may tarnish the reputation of PDRM.

At the time of writing, police have yet to come up with more information regarding the owner of the car. Regardless, as per their statement, it’s safe and wise for us to avoid making any conclusions regarding the matter.
However, it’s also important for everyone to remember that parking your vehicle in the middle of the road is not, and will never be a good solution. It does not only cause traffic congestion but also displays your selfish attitude.
