Malaysians raged online yesterday (19 July) after a video of a man who was seen yelling at a nasi lemak vendor and her daughter for asking him to wear a mask went viral. When one of their regular customers stepped in to defend them, the man proceeded to threaten the man and said that he would beat him up.

Deputy Brickfields OCPD Superintendent Basri Sagoni confirmed today (20 July) that the man has been arrested and remanded reported Sinar Harian. The 33-year-old suspect was arrested near his house at Taman Desa Bakti 8pm yesterday (19 July).
