Taking place circa 12.02 am, Saturday, this group of concerned neighbours ‘raided’ a home in Layangkasa, Pasir Gudang, Johor, to save a child believed to be a victim of abuse.

In the video, the couple were made to endure questioning by their neighbours before saving the seven-year-old boy from the couple.

Viewer discretion is advised.

In the first video, the couple is seen pleading to be let go and not be made to face the brunt of the authorities, but the crowd was having none of it.

Asking them to bring the child out of the home, the group and netizens alike were horrified at what they saw.

In the caption, this netizen writes: “What kind of parents are you to treat a child like this.”

“When your cover is blown, you hide behind your tears pleading for a second chance.”

The netizen then went on to tag @chepuankhaleeda, wife of Tunku Mahkota Johor, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim to further escalate the matter.

Here is her response.

“I have instructed the authorities to take stern action and save the victim from further perils. I thank the local community for their concerns and swift action to protect the child.”

“This further proves that a strong and united community can play a huge part in safeguarding children in this country.”

It is important to note that both suspects have been remanded by the police for further investigation, and the victim is now being treated at the Sultan Ismail Hospital.
