We’ve seen multiple Malaysian foods being placed in the international spotlight for their exceptional taste.

However, it looks like every now and then, a Malaysian dish appears to fall short of people’s standards and make it onto the ‘meh‘ list. (But, the taste is supposed to be subjective, no?)

TasteAtlas took to their Facebook page to showcase their list of the 100 Worst Rated Foods in the World and a Malaysian dish has taken the 48th spot. Are you guys ready for what the dish is? It’s… Nasi Goreng Kambing!

Nasi Goreng Kambing was ranked 2.6 stars out of 5 stars and was categorised under Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

Though, it wasn’t stated how the rankings were calculated.

Unity for Nasi Goreng Kambing!

We believe this is the only time we’ve seen Malaysians, Indonesians and Singaporeans banding together as they took to the post to defend Nasi Goreng Kambing’s honour.

“They’re saying out Nasi Goreng Kambing is not nice.”

“Why did they include Nasi Goreng Kambing into the list?”

“Nasi Goreng Kambing is tasty! I have no idea what kind of tongue tasted it (for it to be ranked on the worst-rated food list).”

At least we Malaysians, Singaporeans and Indonesians can agree on something for once!

Do you think Nasi Goreng Kambing should be considered among the worst-tasting foods in the world? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
