Love can be found anywhere, in most unexpected places when you’re not expecting it at all. This Malaysian lady recently shared her story about her meet-cute with her now-husband on a RapidKL bus and it sounds just like the love stories you usually see in movies.

She shared her story on Facebook and described how she met her husband when she took a different bus that day. Apparently, he was the “captain” of the bus and she said she was attracted to him when she stepped on the bus and saw him driving it.

“I had been taking the RapidKL bus for about three months but this is the first time I am taking the RapidKL bus 170. When I got on the bus, I noticed that the driver is a young man, which attracted my attention. On that day, I was having some trouble putting my money inside the machine but luckily, the captain (driver) just smiled and helped me out,” she said.

She said that she was an observant person so she noticed the captain’s nametag and discovered his name when she was getting off the bus. The next day, she was waiting for the same bus at Prima Sri Gombak, which was different from her usual bus stop.

As fate would have it, she boarded the same captain’s bus but this time she used her Touch ‘n Go card instead. To her surprise, the bus captain noticed her and actually started talking to her. He said, “Assalamualaikum, today you didn’t board the bus in your usual spot ya?”

With butterflies in her stomach and her heart beating fast, she answered him, “Oh, no I didn’t because I wanted to do some shopping here.”

When she wanted to get off the bus, the captain handed her a bus ticket which was weird as she had used her Touch ‘n Go. However, when she took the ticket and looked behind, she was surprised to see that he had given her his phone number! Wow, smooth!

Hence, their love story began and not long after this, her husband proposed to her and they got engaged in October 2018. They started saving money for their wedding and everything else until they finally got married on 24 December 2018.
