Fate always has its ways to make our day, or break our hearts.

A Malaysian woman recently shared a gut-wrenching story about her marriage, where she took care of her bedridden husband for 6 years, only for him to remarry 1 week after their divorce.

The man got into an accident in 2018 and throughout his recovery, the woman, who works as a nurse never left and stayed by his side, patiently taking care of him.

“I changed his diapers, I fed him, I showered him, and took care of our kids. I watched him recover gradually.”

Despite the love she had poured, her husband had a change of heart following his full recovery.

“It’s your turn to take over the duty of a wife”

In her viral Facebook post, the woman congratulated her ex-husband who has tied the knot with his new wife, 1 week after their divorce on October 6.

“Congratulations. I hope you’re happy with your new wife. To the woman, please take good care of him as much as I took care of him. It’s your turn now, I have done my part.”

The woman also mentioned that before the accident, her ex-husband had carried out his responsibility well. Despite being divorced, the pair are still raising their children together.

She also mentioned that she hopes her experience will be a lesson to other couples out there.
