Having children can be a messy affair, which is why it’s so important to keep an eye on them when you’re somewhere surrounded by expensive things that can be damaged.

In this case, a Malaysian singer learned the hard way that his kid can cause him thousands in losses while armed with only nail polish.

The singer, Tomok, took to his Instagram page to showcase how his child had spilled nail polish on several items in a Levi’s store at The Gardens Mall, causing him to have to buy the items which cost a whopping RM5,593 (and that’s after a discount!).

He wrote, “Help me, guys”.

In the video shared, he explained how he and his family were in the Levi’s store as his wife needed to get a pair of jeans for herself. But, soon after, tragedy struck.

“My child had spilled, what is it called, Cutex, on T-shirts and pants from Levi’s that costs… the jeans are RM1,299. And, it spilled on not one, but 4 pairs of jeans, (2) T-shirts that costs RM499 each, and how much is this (looking at another damaged item)? RM899.”

“Guys, I cannot do anything, I can’t leave the store, I have to pay a total of, after discount, I have to pay RM5,593 only”, he said. Before the discount, based on our calculations, the items would have came to a total of above RM7,000.

Tomok also pointed out that he understands it is the rule of any store that once an item is damaged, you would have to buy it.

Considering the clothes were not of his size, he then decided to try and resell the items in another Instagram video. And, he managed to sell all the damaged items off at reduced prices.
