Many adults often tell their children or those junior to them to explore and experience nature every once in a while, but I don’t think they meant it in the literal sense of the word.

A recent TikTok clip has been making waves online after one Malaysian user who goes by the handle @nusantarashops caught a clip of a person using a tree branch as a see-saw.

No we’re serious, he’s actually riding a tree.

In the video, the undisclosed person can be seen riding a sturdy tree branch while a friend records him. Another woman can be seen helping the individual balance himself, as he is whisked upwards, then downwards, repeatedly. The funniest part about the video was how oblivious those in the background seem to be towards the activity, almost as though it was a regular situation to them.

Losing a bit of momentum towards the end, one of the women then helps to nudge the branch a tad bit before the bounce continues. Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, the poster of the clip stated that the video was taken at a rest and recreation (R&R) stop in Bagan Ajam, Penang.

After watching the clip, many Malaysians were stumped over how to feel about the situation. Some felt as though it was a little dangerous and others opined that it looked really fun, while there were a few who were smack in the middle of those two thoughts.

That is so dangerous… now move, it’s my turn!” jested one user.

On the other hand, multiple users expressed how they used to do the same thing with large tree when they were in their childhood and teenage years.

“There used to be a giant tree in front of my house, and I used to do the same thing! After that, my mother and grandmother called people to cut it down and I cried uncontrollably,” said another person.

Nevertheless, a few also chose to find the positivity out of the video, no matter the circumstance, saying that a big part of enjoying nature included activities like this. Some also commented on how sturdy the tree must have been due to the fact that it was allowed to remain there for so many years.

“It’s what fun looks like in nature. Even with the tree being so big, no one had killed it, and it somehow remains devoted back to humans. All trees have a soul,” penned one user.
