The anonymous message reads,
“I’m planning to send ‘adios b*tches’ to the WhatsApp work group chat and leave… Can management take action against me if I already resigned?”
Malaysians unanimously advised the individual to be professional rather than being pettily ‘savage’

In the replies to the X post, Malaysians unanimously advised the individual against doing this as it’s unprofessional and may even sabotage their chances of getting a new job in the future.
One commenter said that even if one deeply loathes the company they’re working at, one must always be professional as you do not know what will happen in the future. For example, the new company you’re working at may hire a boss from your old company and make them your superior in the new company.
Meanwhile, another commenter said that one’s old company would be a reference for other companies when cross-checking your background during hiring, so it’s best to keep it professional.
Besides that, one Malaysian said that the working circle isn’t as big as one would think and their actions may be known by other companies and may curtail one’s chances of getting hired.
