If your guilty pleasure as a kid was chocolates, then you probably could relate to this.

In a recent video circulating online, a father can be seen diligently installing locks on the refrigerator door. The motive behind this peculiar act is simple yet relatable – the parents are attempting to curb their children’s chocolate consumption that they recently bought from their family trip to Langkawi.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, @aniwanis shared that their kids had been indulging in the Langkawi chocolates for several days. The parental decision to physically lock the refrigerator door was a direct response to the children’s chocolate raids.

Adding a humorous twist to the situation, the children managed to access the chocolates without their parents’ knowledge. The parents had hoped for a more regulated approach, expressing:

“We were hoping that they would gain permission before taking the chocolates. That way, it’s easier for us to monitor how much sugar they’re consuming. In fact, chocolates could even be a reward for them if they finish their rice.”

The hilarious comments made by netizens make it twice as funny.

“Imagine losing the keys to the locks.”

“All of a sudden I’m craving chocolates after seeing this video”

“Don’t forget to include the fingerprint scanner and lock password.”
