No one likes a bully and to be a victim is not only traumatising but also affects one’s self-esteem, as well as elevating one’s fear. Luwe Xin Hui, the winner of ATV Miss Asia Pageant Malaysia 2023 has responded to all allegations about her past as a bully.

In her Instagram post, Luwe started by apologising to everyone for her deeds and words in the past and said that the recent viral news about her past has sent her into a series of deep reflections.

“At that time, I was still exploring and growing. I had experienced the feeling of helplessness and the desire to be understood.”

Luwe also revealed that she is ready to address her past behaviours with her victims, and she is willing to solve any misunderstanding and issues with anyone. She added that she has been reading all comments and feedbacks on her socials regarding her past, and said that everyone deserved to be treated with respect and care.

“It is my deepest regret that I did not treat my friends well in the past.”

Luwe explained that she has deeply reflected on her mistakes and learned from the punishment.

“I will double my efforts to improve, and I am willing to help promote anti-bullying related activities,” she said.

She then apologised again to those who had been affected by her past behaviours, especially to those who went to the same school. Luwe also thanked those who have given her useful tips and advice to brace through the tough times.

“I feel guilty and I hope to be forgiven, and I hope to prove to you that I am no longer the ignorant and rebellious person.”

Now that Luwe has said her apology, we do hope that she’ll be able to move forward to her new beginnings and learn from past mistakes.
