Rui Mei @ruimeilo, a popular figure on TikTok known for her charity and kindness video, recently posted a video that quickly went viral, showcasing a selfless act that left both viewers and the recipients of her generosity beaming with joy.
The video quickly gained traction, garnering 36.7K likes and an astounding 517.4K views in a short span of time.
The video begins with Rui Mei wandering through the bustling streets of Bukit Bintang, a vibrant city in Kuala Lumpur.
As she stumbles upon a young boy selling balloons, she decides to make his day a little brighter.
She asks the boy,
“What is your name?”
“How much is this?”
Without hesitation, she purchases every single balloon he has for sale, which costed about RM80. However, what happened next is what truly touched the hearts of viewers.
Instead of simply walking away, Rui Mei insisted that the boy keep the change from her RM100 bill.
Her genuine smile and compassionate nature were evident as she handed him the money and wished him well. But her act of kindness didn’t stop there.
With a heart full of compassion, she proceeded to distribute the colourful balloons with the boy to the children around them, spreading laughter and delight.
