Visiting grandparents can be the best part of growing up for some people.
Whether it’s hiding behind them when our parents chase us around the house with a wooden spoon or the ones who secretly give us a whopping amount of pocket money, grandparents are the best!
Recently, a video went viral on TikTok when a determined grandmother decided to give her living room a makeover to accustom it to her grandkiddos’ needs.
The video shows the before and after of grandma’s living room. It is seen that the kids are playing in the middle which is around an inch lower than the rest of the flooring.
The 2nd clip shows the outcome of how grandma had removed the carpet, changed the tiles and wrapped the furniture around with plastic… voila… an indoor pool!
The grandma further added water into the “pool” and placed some toys and chairs for the children to enjoy.
She even matched the whole living room with different shades of blue, the renovation really spruced up the whole vibe of the house.
The video has garnered over 11.6K views and 236 likes at the time of writing.
Some netizens are glad to see the children having a grand time, looks like grandma’s hard work paid off!
“This was my dream when I was a kid”, a netizen envies.
“Grandma loves her grandchildren.”
“It’s so fun to have a pool like this… nice.”
However, several netizens raised their concerns about the indoor pool being a little dangerous for kids.
“It’s dangerous, if the TV falls it will cause an accident.”
“It would be better if the tiles were rough, with smooth tiles, the children might slip and fall.”
“Not to be mean but having an indoor pool can be dangerous because its surrounded by electrical appliances, these kids tend to splash water while bathing and that can be harmful.”
