Many of us have a phobia of the creepy crawlies and would refuse to touch even one with our bare hands. Finding one of them in your food is even worse, and can make you lose your appetite instantly.
Well, when this Malaysian girl found live lizards in her food, she hilariously recorded a video because she was so upset that they ruined the porridge she labouriously slaved over.
Based on a Facebook post by Sen Lamb which has gone viral, she shared how she found not one or two lizards but three in the seafood porridge that she cooked. She even documented how she used her bare hands to fish them out alive and threw them away.
She wrote, “So frustrated! I’ve been feeling dizzy and feverish so I cooked a pot of seafood porridge to eat. After so much hard work, I only managed to eat one bowl before the whole pot was contaminated by the lizard.
“One climbed into the pot and just 10 minutes later, I found another one! You guys are lucky I don’t kill and just released you outside. Please don’t come anymore, I am very hungry.”
As if two lizards climbing inside the pot wasn’t enough, not long after she found the second one, a third one appeared. OMG! Many people were puzzled at the appearance of so many lizards and how they managed to get inside.
She said, “I left the pot uncovered because when my porridge finished cooking, it was too hot so I thought of letting it cool down a little. Five minutes later, the first lizard went in. Since the porridge had to be thrown away, I left it uncovered. Not long after that I chatted with my friend for 10 minutes and the second one appeared. I threw it away and swept the floor which was when the third one jumped in the pot!”
Her amusing post caught netizens’ attention as many were simply amazed by the fact that so many lizards jumped into her pot of seafood porridge. Many joked that her porridge must have smelt and looked irresistible to the lizards.
