Two young children are to be transported from Danok, Thailand, to Selangor, Malaysia, by ambulance, alongside their mother’s ashes, following a fatal road accident during a family holiday.

Malaysian philanthropist Kuan Chee Heng, affectionately known as Uncle Kentang, shared that he will be dispatching two ambulances to bring the children and their mother’s remains back home.

A heartbreaking journey home

He wrote, “2 kids suffered severe injuries, and their mum’s ashes in an urn will accompany them in ambulances. It is my first time putting ashes in an ambulance to accompany the daughter home to Sungai Buloh.”

“The mum was tragically killed in a car accident in Thailand. They are Malaysians from Kundang, Selangor, and were on holiday in Thailand when they met with the accident.”

He went on to explain how the deceased woman’s 8-year-old daughter is suffering from intracranial bleeding, while her 10-year-old son’s legs are both fractured.

“2 ambulances will be dispatched to the border of Danok, Thailand, from Puchong. The family is not rich, and they may struggle in paying for 2 private ambulances.”
