When ordering food through delivery applications, customers would include their requests on how they want their food to be served, from wanting certain items to be packed separately to wanting certain parts of the chicken for their meal.

And while many of these requests tend to go silently unfulfilled due to availability reasons, one eatery staff member decided to tell the customer about it in an adorable way.

@yannis_lingzi recently posted on her Instagram, sharing an incident involving a particular restaurant that included a note in her order.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, she shared that she left a note for the restaurant, expressing her desire for a chicken thigh. To her surprise, one of the workers who prepared her order responded to her request.

The note she left for the restaurant read,

“Pretty sister/handsome brother, could you please give me chicken thigh? Thank you so much!”

Expressing her disappointment, she had previously been informed by the restaurant that they couldn’t meet her request, providing chicken breast and wing instead of the desired thigh.

The amusing response from the restaurant said,

“Apologies, sister, but I’m not handsome. Hence, you’ll be getting chicken breast and wing.”

To her surprise, upon opening the packaging, she discovered that she had indeed received chicken thigh.

“The staff really played with my feelings on this one. I find the whole situation quite amusing.”

She mentioned that she doesn’t know which worker did this, but if she finds out, she would love to thank them for brightening her day.

It’s great to see the friendliness and humor of Malaysian workers. Sometimes, a small act of kindness like this can truly turn someone’s day around.
