Children are meant to be able to enjoy their childhoods but many from underprivileged families tend to have to help their parents by finding income and making a living.

Sometimes, parents even use their children to sell their products as a way to gain sympathy from the general public, which would then boost sales.

One Malaysian noticed a little boy going from restaurant to restaurant selling food items and decided that something should be said. Netizen, @cikenricecillie, took to her Twitter page to call out the parents of the little boy who was seen selling nuts to customers eating at the restaurant she was at.

They wrote, “Please parents, stop using your child to peddle the goods you sell. He should be in school studying instead of selling nuts.”

But wait, it gets worse.

The boy’s parents, who were on a motorcycle waiting outside the restaurant, did not have helmets for their children.

“There were 5 of them on the motorcycle. The parents were wearing helmets, but the children were not. You’re simply jeopardising the safety of your own children,”

“I’m pissed off with this kid’s parents. It’s not just once or twice. I’ve seen them many times on the road. This is the second time this kid is coming to sell their products. Pity your child a bit lah,” she added.

It is truly saddening to know that parents are using their kids to sell items but don’t even prioritise their kids’ safety.
