A Malaysian businesswoman recently revealed that her bungalow was broken into by an unknown man. Her luxury items, which were worth RM2.1 million disappeared into thin air.

Thanks to PDRM’s effort, the jewellery was retrieved and suspects were apprehended. The businesswoman, fondly known as Kak KM said she could only cry when she received the good news from the police. It took the police less than 24 hours to retrieve the goods after the matter was reported.

“My followers stole my stuff”

Speaking to Kosmo, Kak KM said that the people responsible for the thefts were her followers on social media. The perpetrators had a smart modus operandi to “infiltrate” Kak KM’s home.

“They used to ask for my address, and pretended to come to my house to collect stocks.”

Despite the presence of CCTV cameras, the group of people carried out their theft, regardless.

Kak KM also said that she is thinking of moving away from her current house due to the recent incident that caused her to feel unsafe.

“This is a lesson for me. Why stay here when I’m already feeling unsafe? I’m just going to move, and I’m not going to sell my house.”

The businesswoman also said she will up her security game following the break-in.
