M’sian Business Company Asks Staff To Work From Home After Board Of Director’s Member Gets Corona-fied

Since the Covid-19 outbreak, many have been taking precautions to avoid the disease altogether. One of those practising said precautions is UDA Holdings Berhad.

Based on a report by FMT, when one of the members from the board of directors was confirmed as Covid-19 positive, all staff of the company were asked to work from home till further notice.

“Following the case, the company has taken safety measures by cleaning out germ-infested places and thus, all staff were asked to leave early yesterday in order for the process to take place”, said the statement.

Besides that, in order to increase safety controls and health levels, the company also has limited the number of people entering and exiting the office on top of carrying out health screenings and temperature check-ups in the lobby.

“The management is also giving out face masks and hand sanitisers to all visitors and staff. This step is taken as a recommendation from Ministry of Health (KKM) to avoid the spread of Covid-19 and to increase safety control as well as health levels”, according to the statement.
