A 22-year-old Malaysian woman endured a frightening experience recently while waiting for her husband in the car.

She alleged that a man, who claimed to be a police officer, had entered the car, molested her, and punched her.

The incident reportedly occurred at approximately 5:15 AM on Tuesday (13 January), after the woman parked her car near a market while her husband attended to a matter nearby.

She was resting inside the vehicle when the man, who was riding a motorcycle, approached and parked the two-wheeler beside her car.

At that time, the car was unlocked, making it easier for the man to enter the vehicle and sit next to her

When asked, the man claimed to be a police officer. Just as the woman attempted to scream for help, the man forcefully covered her mouth before molesting her.

During the struggle, the woman claimed she managed to scream, which prompted the man to punch her in the right eye before fleeing the scene. Unfortunately, the victim didn’t have a dashcam installed, and there are no CCTVs in the area, reported Harian Metro.

Wangsa Maju District Police Chief ACP Mohd Lazim Ismail addressed the incident, stating that the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) received a report on the same day at 12:42 PM.

Lazim added that the incident took place near a market in Medan Idaman, Gombak, and the hunt for the suspect is underway.

Just a few days back, a young Malaysian couple had RM260 extorted from them while doing Mukbang live in their car, where a 24-year-old suspect sexually assaulted the woman. The suspect has since been arrested and is currently under police custody for investigation.

The case is currently being investigated under Sections 323 and 354 of the Penal Code. Stay tuned as we keep you updated.
