Doing the right thing can sometimes come at a cost of comfort and convenience, but it’s always important to remember that there’s nothing more rewarding than going by one’s moral compass.

A recent TikTok has been making waves online after employees from a mamak restaurant were spotted carrying out a noble act. In the clip which was posted by CNA Videographer Salim Hanafiah to his TikTok account @salim.hanafiah, a group of three to five workers were seen picking up trees and fallen objects that had toppled during a storm in Bangsar.

Through the pouring rain, the men worked together to lift the items and move them off the road, allowing drivers to carry on with their journeys. None of the men wore raincoats and were merely in their restaurant’s uniforms throughout the video.

After gaining traction on the platform, multiple commenters under the video identified the mamak as Nasi Kandar Rasmeena.

Earning massive praise from Malaysians in the comments section, many remarked how much respect they had for the workers, going above and beyond their jobs to help random strangers and drivers.
