If you’re a Malaysian currently in Singapore and want to return back to Malaysia, take note of this!
Beginning 27 April 2020, Malaysians in Singapore who wish to return to Malaysia by land will have to present an Entry Permit from the High Commission of Malaysia in Singapore.
This was announced on the High Commission of Malaysia Facebook page today (23 April).
Malaysians will have to apply for the permit two days before their departure date via email at stmsg@mhc.org.sg.
Here are the requirements you have to send in:
- Name
- IC number
- Passport number
- Departure date
- Copy of your pass (Singapore PR, Long Term Pass, work permit, student pass, social visit, etc)
After sending in your application, wait for a reply email which will include a unique reference number.
Once you are at the Malaysia Immigration Checkpoint in Johor Bahru, present the printed or phone screenshot reply email.
