Cheating people of their money is probably the easiest yet most unethical way to become rich.

Just like this Malaysian couple who cheated about SGD48,000 (approx. RM148,450) off Wang Maria Linda.

In her Facebook post, she wrote,

“Last Saturday evening on May 20, 2017, my sister spotted the con artist who cheated her company of the $48,000 deposit for a job that was never delivered.”

Apparently, the couple will suddenly become unreachable after the deposit has been made. Fortunately, the couple was spotted in a mall and was immediately apprehended by the authorities while they were shopping in Takashimaya, Singapore.

“Security and police were called to the scene and the con couple was escorted to the security post.”

The conman, Howard Ng, and his partner also allegedly shouted vulgarities and pointed the middle finger during the confrontation.

The couple set up a ‘company’ called V2 Art Decor Pte Ltd to make it even more believable; they even registered the company in Singapore and had an address for their office.

Unfortunately, the police can’t really do anything about this matter. Wang wrote,

“Take a good look at this man! Beware when doing business with him. He is out to con people money and even police is unable to help settle the problem.”

Even some netizens agreed that there really isn’t much that could be done right now.
