19yo Aviation Trainee Tragically Dies After Falling from 39th Floor of KL Apartment & Landing on Car

A 19-year-old male trainee from an aviation training company tragically died after falling from the 39th floor of an apartment in Kuala Lumpur.

According to China Press, the incident happened at Razak City Residence in Sungai Besi around 10:53 PM last night (April 29).

He landed on a car and died on the spot

Footage circulating online shows the victim falling from a high-rise building and landing on a white car, which was badly damaged from the impact.

Jinma District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Surisimi Affendi, confirmed the incident and said the building where it happened is 48 stories tall.

He added that CCTV footage showed the man leaving his home on the 38th floor of Block A before heading to the stairwell on the 39th floor.

He has no history of illness

Surisimi Affendi said the victim’s body would be sent to the NUS Medical Center, where an autopsy was scheduled for 10 AM earlier today.

He also shared that the victim had been living with a roommate, who will be called in to give a statement to help with the investigation.

According to the victim’s brother, he had no history of illness and wasn’t dealing with any known problems or showing any signs of depression before the fall.
