Live Action Keluang Man Film Are Looking For Its Hero, Auditions Open From July 28 till August 13

The live-action version of the beloved animated series Keluang Man is now looking for someone to play the iconic character.

Astro Shaw will produce the version and be directed by the director of the High Council Project series and the writer of the film Polis Evo, Anwari Ashraf Hashim.

The first phase audition session will be open from 28 July until 13 August, and the requirements stated:

  • Open to all Malaysian citizens,
  • Men,
  • Ages 21 to 40,
  • Fluent in Malay
  • Has an exciting and unique personality and a strong physique.
  • Having martial arts skills is an advantage.

Candidates selected in the shortlist will receive a notification from the production side and they will then be given an explanation of character traits for the second phase physical audition process in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor.

The 10 best talents will then be selected for the third phase of screening before the production team reveals who will successfully play the role of Keluang Man.
