An enforcement officer from the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) recently responded to the viral video showing a Malaysian father leaving his child for two hours while allegedly cheating on his wife.

The officer does not know the man personally, but had to respond and clear the air after he was mistaken for the viral father who left his child alone while spending time with a woman.

“I can still think clearly, I will not do such things”

Taking to his TikTok account @safwanaziz04, Safwan Aziz, a KPDN officer who is based in Melaka, strongly denied that he was the man seen in the viral video. Despite the resemblance, Safwan assured that he can still think clearly and will not resort to doing such things.

“Please don’t tell others that I am the man in the video. I am not him, okay? We don’t look alike, not even a bit,” Safwan said.

The viral video

Earlier, a man went viral for leaving his child in an indoor playground at a mall in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Another parent claimed that he had to look after the child for over two hours, and he scolded the man for abandoning his child.

Following the circulation of the video, a woman who claimed to be the man’s wife, said that thanks to the viral video, he found out that her husband was cheating with another woman.

The man seen in the video, however, has yet to respond to the matter.
