Local celebrity chef, Khairul Aming has been dubbed the humble millionaire by the public. His food content is not the only popular thing about him but also his signature Sambal Nyet Berapi, which has a high and popular demand in the country.
In his Twitter post yesterday (April 11), Khairul revealed that he had just restocked 13,000 bottles of Sambal Nyet on Shopee. His signature Sambal is generally sold out very quickly, but perhaps not as fast as his extraordinary sales yesterday.
In just 2 minutes, Khairul Aming’s Sambal Nyet was sold out on the same day he restocked it. The notifications from Shopee constantly spammed his phone and even Khairul himself was shocked by the massive sale.
Spams can be annoying but the way we see it, that’s the sound of money flowing in!
Despite the high demand for the product, the celebrity chef admitted that he has never experienced this much of sales in a short time since he started his online business 3 years back.
“This is my fastest sale of Sambal Nyet so far. Thank you guys.”
On the same day, Khairul also took the opportunity to thank his fans for their continuous support via an IG story.

Aside from his food content, Khairul, sometimes known as KA is also being talked about by the public for being one of the best employers in the country. At times, KA closes his factory for a day or 2 just to bring his fellow employees out for a staycation to have fun.
Just recently, KA once again treated his workers to a massive surprise when he brought them to shop for Raya clothes, as well as handing out each and every one of them an RM3,000 bonus.
In response to his massive Sambal sale yesterday, many Malaysians expressed their happiness for KA and some said that it was a reward for his good karma.
“How you treat your workers generously with money says it all. This is why God allows such a good sale for your Sambal. You’re such a good human being. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.”
