A dose of wholesomeness is exactly what we need in these troubling times!
Economically, 2020 hasn’t been great for most, what with the layoffs and pay cuts. To cope with this, Malaysians have been thinking of alternative ways to earn their bread and butter. One such hard worker is 14-year-old Muhammad Nor Faizal bin Nordin who has been selling burgers part-time during his school holidays.
Unfortunately, Faizal became a victim of theft when he left his stall for a while to use the toilet around 1am. Among the things that got stolen included his handphone, cash and his sales items. Faizal’s plight caught the attention of none other than YDH District Police Chief Petaling Jaya, ACP Nik Ezanee bin Mohd Faisal who spent some time with him yesterday (29 December).
Not only did his team visit Faizal, IPD Petaling Jaya even donated a handphone to him as an encouragement to continue persevering despite the challenges in life.
“It takes so little to do just that, and yet few people utilize this world-changing ability. Just one good deed a day”
Netizens in the comment section heaped praise on the police officers and how touched they were by this kind deed.
“No comment, I’m just very touched with the concern from PDRM Petaling Jaya and PDRM officers in general.”
“Compassionate deed from YDH Tuan Nik Ezanee that will be ingrained in the memory of this young boy. It will guide him along the right path to do good to others.”
Kudos to IPD PJ for helping out a young entrepreneur like Faizal get back on his feet. Deeds like these are the true embodiment of #KitaJagaKita we should be practising on a daily basis.
