It has just been reported that Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah will not be conducting a Covid-19 briefing today (9 March).

According to Oriental Daily, this would be the first time in 49 days of continuous updates from Dr Noor Hisham since 21 March.

For recent weeks, he has been reporting the daily updates of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia, as well as the progress of ceasing the spread of the coronavirus within the community. And Dr Noor Hisham has been reminding Malaysians that we have not won the war against Covid-19, thus the constant advice for us to stay at home.

Public Health Malaysia updated its Facebook page earlier today, announcing that Dr had been given a “day off” by the Prime Minister’s Office.

“Today Dr Hisham has been given a ‘day off’ by the Prime Minister’s Office. There will be no press conference today, only a media statement will be released.”

Hari ni Dr Hisham diberikan "cuti" oleh PMO. Tiada sidang media hari ini. Hanya kenyataan media.
