The heavy downpour this evening (May 7) has caused major damage on KL road.
In a video that was shared with WORLD OF BUZZ, multiple cars are seen damaged after a HUGE tree uprooted. In one of the dashcam footage that was sent to WORLD OF BUZZ, the huge tree can be seen slowly falling onto cars that were stuck in traffic during the rain.
According to Kosmo, a 47-year-old victim was reported dead.
A source also told WORLD OF BUZZ that the incident took place in front of Concorde KL, and 17 vehicles were damaged.
Firefighters have been dispatched to the scene for rescue work and to clear the traffic. A bus station was also damaged.
