It’s your birthday, the time of the year when you get to celebrate yourself, and the achievements you’ve made throughout the year. Some people fancy a simple and quiet celebration but if you have the budget, it’s time to pamper yourself with good food that you rarely get to eat!
Just recently, a Malaysian singer Choo Hao Ren celebrated her wife’s birthday and he shared the experience in a 23-minute video on his YouTube channel. This time, for his wife, Gladish’s birthday, the man brought her to a Michelin-star restaurant in KL, where, let’s just say, despite the high price for a birthday meal, the pair enjoyed their Indian cuisine so much.
The birthday meal costed them around RM1,800.
At the beginning of the video, Hao Ren said that it has always been an annual thing for him to celebrate Gladish’s birthday at fine dining restaurants, places that they don’t go to regularly. For the meal, Hao Ren got a set with 2 meals which cost RM1,380, and added 2 glasses of red wine and a bottle of Evian sparking water, which totaled up to RM1830.50.
“I don’t regret it,” Hao Ren said.
And that was because the food was too good! Gladish also personally felt the food tasted amazing, and Hao Ren said “he didn’t want to swallow” the prawn he was chewing when his tastebuds were “pampered” by the flavorsome seafood.
“It’s so good that I wanna cry,” he said.
You know the food is good when you “feel bad” to swallow it, and it’s always satisfying when you have a delicious birthday meal. You can watch the full YouTube video below.
