Ladies and gentlemen, Malaysians in general, hold on to your hats because it’s been proven and it’s official…
Women are better drivers than men!
A study by Confused.com titled The Gender Gap in 100 Drivers broke down the population of Britain into 100 people, in which more women took their driver’s tests but more women failed their tests as well, as compared to their male counterparts.
Nonetheless, out of 539,000 people who had convicted traffic violations in England and Wales in 2018, more men were caught breaking the law. In fact, men outnumbered women by 4:1.
It turns out that, men are more likely to drive drunk, drive beyond the speed limit, drive carelessly and without insurance and taxes, as well as commit other traffic offences.
Because of women’s tendency to be more careful on the roads, they are less prone to accidents, and women also pay less for their car insurances!
Hence, the age-old battle between the sexes can finally come to an end. Enough with spreading false and fallacious notions that women are bad drivers. If anything bad drivers should not even be categorised based on gender, after all, anyone can be a bad driver despite their gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. #Inclusivity
The only thing left to do now is to conduct this study in Malaysia to further prove this. Any takers?
