An Israeli tourist caused chaos for a taxi driver in Thailand after he had defecated in the taxi and refused to pay a cleaning fee.

According to a report by Sinar Harian, this incident took place in Pattaya, where the taxi driver, 32-year-old Norraphat, had picked up 2 Israeli tourists near a shopping mall heading to Soi Buakhao, South Pattaya.

While on the way to the location, Norraphat suddenly smelled a foul odour before realising that one of the tourists had defecated in the vehicle.

He immediately stopped the taxi to clean the seats and requested compensation of 1,500 baht (RM196) for cleaning costs, but the tourists refused to pay the amount and offered to give him 300 baht (RM39) instead.

This led Norraphat to call the police to resolve the issue

When the police arrived at the scene, the tourist who defecated in the taxi was standing across the road with faeces still visible on his feet. Norraphat, on the other hand, was arguing with the other tourist who was in his taxi.

The police managed to order the tourists to pay the requested amount before they left the scene.

What would you have done if you were in Norraphat’s shoes? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
