One of the Malaysian activists who was illegally detained by the Israeli forces on the Global Sumud Flotilla (GSF) is now being treated at a hospital in Turkiye for a broken shoulder and low blood pressure.

The activist, Ardell Aryana, is said to have been punched by the regime in the face while in the custody of the Israeli forces.

The matter was revealed by Ardell’s husband, Nadzmi Adhwa, via his posts on Threads, who said that the regime also pulled off his wife’s hijab while mistreating her.

Ardell vomited a few times during her treatment and is currently in weak condition

On his TikTok live last night, Nadzmi said that he was in touch with the hospital about the condition of his wife, and said that it was much more than just low blood pressure.

Meanwhile, in his Threads post, Nadzmi also vented his anger at the Israeli forces who abused his wife physically, saying,

“May those who mistreated my wife die horrifically.”

The Centre for Human Rights Research and Advocacy (CENTHRA) lawyer, Fahmi Abd Moin, also revealed that another activist, Haikal Abdullah, was sent to the same hospital for treatment. Haikal claimed that he was stepped on by Zionist regime soldiers on his hand, affecting several of his fingers.

Apart from Ardell and Haikal, Fahmi also stated that several other Malaysian activists were also treated in this way, including PU Rahmat, Heliza, and Hazwani Helmi. However, he said, other activists were in good health after undergoing a health check upon arrival in Turkiye yesterday.

Fahmi stressed that CENTHRA will take statements from all Malaysian activists as soon as they return home regarding the Zionist regime’s atrocities against them, reported Berita Harian.
