As reported by Indonesian news outlet Detik.com, a viral story has come out about a couple from the Tulungagung regency of East Java who divorced for the most, er, let’s say the most peculiar of reason.

The Indonesian couple argued because the husband couldn’t ‘fulfill’ his wife’s wishes in the bedroom department. That wish? Making love up to NINE times per day.

Err, what?!

Shared by a marriage counselor named Mohammad Hufron Efendi, he details how he handled the case of the couple who was only married for less than one year. According to Hufron,

“Yes that was a case that I handled. If we were to look at the background of the couple, the wife suffers from hypersexuality. This led to an argument.”

He added that the reason for the divorce is not the hypersexuality, but the argument that follows.

“The reason for the divorce is the arguments between them, not their sex life.”

Hufron further shared that the couple were both below 30 years old and throughout the marriage, the wife’s sexual wished dominated the relationship with constant asking of fulfillment to her ‘desires’ multiple times in a day.

The couple ended their marriage in good terms.
