Ramadan is probably the best time to share a meal with family and friends, especially during iftar.
Taking to TikTok, this netizen shared his experience of having iftar with his Bangladeshi friends, when they invited him over for buka puasa.
Being the best hosts, here is what this netizen experienced at their home.
“Here is our meal today. I made you Beef Bhuna.”
A type of Bangladeshi curry typically enjoyed during Eid, the hosts began piling the dish onto this netizen’s plate wanting him to eat more of it.
Sharing a story behind Bhuna, the man shared, “This is a favourite in my village. They have it during festivities like Hari Raya Aidiladha.”
Commending how tasty and spicy the dish was, they advised the netizen to eat it with tomatoes to cut the spice.
Demanding more rice, the video ended with the netizen asking if he could stay for suhoor too.
