Some people just won’t take no for an answer, it seems. Sigh. And the outcome from this case turned out pretty badly.

In a recent report from Astro Awani, a wife had hacked off her husband’s genitals after he had refused to have sex with her in Kampala, Uganda.

Moses Okot, who is a 46-year-old peasant farmer, is reported to be in a critical condition following the incident.

According to Okot, his wife, Beatrice Acen, had returned home intoxicated at around 10 pm on June 30. Upon her arrival, she had demanded sex from her husband but her pleas were denied.

“When I returned home from hunting at around 7 pm, my wife was not home. My daughter served me food and I went to bed thereafter. My wife returned at around 10 pm and shouted that I open the door for her,” he said.

“I was already asleep. I felt some pain which woke me up and saw my pants wet with blood.”

The 46-year-old man claims that the alleged incident happened because he had denied her from being intimate with him. The reason for the denial was as a punishment for her drinking.

“The woman comes back home when she was too drunk,” he added.

“As a man, I would no longer tolerate such a thing, so I decided to punish her in hopes that she would change for the better. She had always demanded sex.”

The couple, who have been married for more than 10 years, is said to have 5 children.

Police are investigating the incident, and it was reported that the wife is now on the run.
