Following Pakatan Harapan and Barisan National’s coalition of winning the state elections, there will be special holiday on Monday (14 August 2023) for Selangor and Negeri Sembilan.
Dato’ Seri Aminuddin Harun, the Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan announced the holiday in Negeri Sembilan last night (12 August).
He said that the shared victory of Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Barisan National (BN) is a historical moment, adding that the coalition government will continue to work for the people.
Previously, it was announced that it would be a public holiday in Selangor if PH and BN won in the state. The news was confirmed once again by Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, the Menteri Besar of Selangor.
