As a fan, it’s always exciting to meet your favourite celebrity who travels thousands of miles away from their homeland, not to mention how rare it is to have the chance to see them up close and personal.

Hong Kong actress, Charmaine Sheh recently reached Malaysia to shoot a drama and it didn’t take long for her to meet the fans, who have been waiting for her arrival at the airport itself.

Many fans surrounded her and gave her a bouquet of flowers, some even held a banner with her name on it and a welcome message.

However, one of them perhaps had the most outstanding and unique gifts.  In fact, we can tell you what the fan gave Charmaine represented Malaysia – a whole durian cake.

After boarding the car, Charmaine didn’t wait until she reached her destination. She immediately unboxed the cake and cut the pastry to eat it. The best part about a gift is always seeing how the recipient loves it, and in a short clip uploaded onto her Xiao Hong Shu account, Charmaine said she loves the durian cake, and joked about it being fattening.

A netizen in the comment section revealed herself to be the one who served her the cake, which was freshly baked at one of the popular bakery chains.

“It’s baked with fresh Musang King! I hope to serve you again next time.”

Charmaine also revealed that she will be staying in Malaysia for around 2 months as the drama, which is currently in production will take some time for her, and the rest of the crew to finish. However, Charmaine is not the only HK star who will be starring in the drama. Many other HK actors have also reached Malaysia for the production of the TV show.

We’re glad to see that Charmaine enjoyed 1 of the local delicacies! 2 months is a long time, so chances are you might bump into her or the rest of the crew within this period of time.
