After one week of being appointed as the 8th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has announced the names of Cabinet members at the Prime Minister’s Office.

According to The Star, Muhyiddin had an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong this morning at 11am to present the list of names for the new Cabinet.

He mentioned in his press conference that there will be no Deputy Prime Minister, but will be appointing four Senior Ministers instead.

Here are the new cabinet members:

Prime Minister: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin

Senior Minister/Minister of Defence: Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob
Deputy Minister of Defence: YB Dato’ Sri Ikhmal Hisham Bin Abdul Aziz

Senior Minister/Minister of Works: Datuk Seri Fadilah Yusof
Deputy Minister of Works: YB Datuk Dr Shahruddin Bin Md Salleh

Senior Minister/Minister of Education: Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin
Deputy Minister of Education: Dato’ Dr Mah Hang Soon (will be elected as Senator) & YB Muslimin Bin Yahaya

Senior Minister/Minister of International Trade & Industry: Datuk Seri Azmin Ali
Deputy Minister of International Trade & Industry: Datuk Lim Ban Hong (will also be elected as Senator)
