MySejahtera was a big thing in our life during the MCOs. We made many jokes, from forgetting to check out to booking vaccinations there.
Now that we have gone out of the pandemic phase, many people have since abandoned the application. However, this woman on Twitter has shared that she has recently made an appointment for dental scaling at the government dentistry clinic using the MySejahtera application.

In the thread, she walked everyone through the process where we start from accessing the MySejahtera app.
You first tap the appointments icon, then scroll all the way down and tap on “dental check-up.” You will then have to enter your postcode in the space provided and tap search. The appointments which are available on the nearest date will be displayed.
The Twitter user also said that if you don’t see anything, you must be patient and check back in a few hours.
Through her experience of trying to book her appointment, she believes that 12 am seems to be the time when they refresh the appointments, however, there are times during early mornings when appointments suddenly pop up.
After securing an appointment, she says you should make your way to the clinic 30 minutes earlier prior to your scheduled appointment.
You then check in using the MySejahtera application, get a queue number, pay RM1 and get your blood pressure checked.
She only needed to wait about 15 minutes before her turn came. When she got into the dental room, she consulted the dentist, Dr Liyana, and informed her that she would like a dental check-up and scaling. After looking at her teeth, the doctor concluded that she needed the scaling.
The Twitter user said she could get everything done within 30 minutes.
“The doctor said that today is my lucky day as there are not a lot of patients, so it might take longer if there are a lot of people at the clinic that day.”
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, she mentioned that she was very satisfied with her first-ever scaling experience, which only cost RM3! She hopes that by sharing her experience, many more people will know that MySejahtera still has its uses.
“You can see that on the appointment page, you can book many other types of services offered by the Ministry of Health.”
As a satisfied patron, she had written an appreciation note on the Sispaa website to commend the dentist and her assistant who did her scaling. She hopes that other patrons will also do the same to show their appreciation to the medical workers in the country.
This certainly seems like a very handy feature! We’ll definitely be using it soon.
