As the current Minister of Youth and Sports in Malaysia, politician and member of parliament Hannah Yeoh has had to acquaint herself with various kinds of sports practiced throughout Malaysia.

In a recent TikTok clip shared to the minister’s account @hannahyeohmp, Yeoh shared a snippet of the variety of sports she has not only partook in, but also learnt throughout her journey. From football to snooker, carrom, and even bowling, Yeoh shared the highs and lows of learning these sports.

From making a shot at a public basketball game to pulling with all her might in a game of tug of war, the minister also displayed her skills in rowing and also attempting to score a goal in footgolf.

“In 2023, as the Minister of Youth and Sports, I had to learn a variety of sports games. There were some hits and there were some misses. In 2024, I’ll try them again!” wrote Yeoh in the caption of her post.

Receiving praise from members of the public, many Malaysians applauded Yeoh for being extremely involved in various games, and being sporting enough to remain active in each game whether she won or lost.

“The best! Tried every sport, a big motivation to all the young people in Malaysia. Try first, and then they will see their talents,” commented another user.

One person also suggested that Yeoh try wall climbing, though the minister turned them down, saying she’s afraid of heights.
