2 Palestinian women who caused a scene recently at the Wisma Transit in KL will be sent back to Gaza, said the ambassador of Palestine to Malaysia.

The video shows one of the Palestinians acting rudely by throwing slippers at one of the law enforcement officers and damaging the property of the premises. Her disappointment was allegedly due to not being allowed to stay outside WTKL, reported Harian Metro.

The Palestinian ambassador to Malaysia, Walid Abu Ali, apologized for the incident.

“I apologize on behalf of the Palestinians in Malaysia and in the homeland for the incident. This is not our culture, ethics or beliefs.”

Walid also said that, as a Palestinian, he is very grateful for the unwavering support shown to our cause.

The women are part of the 127 Palestinians who arrived safely in this country on August 16 before they were transferred to Tuanku Mizan Military Hospital (HAT).

“Some patients stay in the hospital for so long that they don’t have a chance to leave because they come from war-torn Gaza. This causes emotional stress,” Walid explained.

He added that he has always reminded the Palestinians to respect Malaysia and its people as hosts because not everyone is lucky enough to get such an opportunity.

For those who want to return to Palestine through Egypt, Walid said the embassy will make things easier for them, and for those who opt to stay in Malaysia, medical care will be given until full recovery.

“My message to Malaysians, this kind of incident will definitely not happen again. We love Malaysia and its people.”

We hope the war that has caused the loss of lives will end soon.
