Bullying is an issue that has been around for ages. Just recently, a video was uploaded onto WeiBo, showing a grandmother from Henan, China kneeling in public in front of a bunch of bullies.

In the video, the poor grandma can be seen kneeling in front of the bullies and begging them to stop bullying her grandson.

According to a witness named Li,

“The woman’s grandson just started secondary school and is being bullied by a bunch of 16-year-olds. They hit him and now he’s scared to go to school.

His grandmother found out and begged the bullies to stop bullying her grandson.”

Li mentioned that the bunch of bullies had cigarettes in their mouth and was just sitting there looking at the old woman beg.

“I just couldn’t take it, seeing an old woman kneeling and begging for them to stop bullying her grandson,” he added.

A few passersby went up and helped resolve the situation before helping the old lady up. The argument between the bullies and the passersby got heated up but luckily it didn’t escalate any further.

When the video went viral, many netizens were angry with their behavior and called them out for embarrassing their peers.

Subsequently, the education ministry has received a report regarding the issue and investigations are currently taking place. The police are also involved in this matter and the school has been informed.
