Golden Screen Cinemas Announces Permanent Closure of GSC Berjaya Times Square

A cinema that holds many memories, GSC Berjaya Times Square will permanently close its doors!

According to the official announcement of GSC (Golden Screen Cinemas) on 18 November, GSC Berjaya Times Square will conduct the last screenings on 26 November, and cease operations permanently on 27 November 2023.

“It has been a remarkable journey since we first welcomed you on 27 January 2005. We would like to express our heartfelt thanks for your unwavering support and patronage over these past 17 years. Your smiles, gasps, laughter, and applause will always echo in our hearts,” GSC stated, bidding farewell to the cinema that has been operating for 18 years.

“Though this chapter may be closing, the reel continues to spin.” GSC welcomes moviegoers to the recently opened GSC LaLaport BBCC located near Berjaya Times Square, and thanks customers for being a part of the film-loving journey all this while.

Besides, GSC has announced the upcoming launch of new theatres at 163 Retail Park (Velvet Cinemas), Exchange TRX (Aurum Theatre), and KL East Mall.

Many netizens bid farewell to GSC Berjaya Times Square, and expressed gratitude for the wonderful memories made here.
