Exchanging racy photos may be more widely accepted these days but taking indecent photos of your other half without their knowledge is a huge no-no! This couple got into a huge fight when the girl found out that her boyfriend had taken photos of her in a sports bra and panties while she was asleep.

Based on a report by The New Paper, the girl, who was 15 years old last year, went for lunch with her then-17-year-old boyfriend on August 4 at a coffee shop at Block 263 Compassvale Street, Singapore. After that, they met up with a few of the girl’s friends at a nearby void deck around 5pm.

Around 6pm, the group, consisting of three other girls then aged 15 to 16, four boys aged 17 to 19, and a 25-year-old man checked the boyfriend’s phone and discovered that he was keeping indecent photos of his girlfriend dressed in her sports bra and underwear while sleeping.

She did not know that he had these photos of her, and scrolling further, they discovered that he had several photos of another girl’s butt while she slept in short pants. The other girl was the girlfriend of one of the boys in the group. Seeing these photos, the girlfriend was furious and beat him up by kicking his groin and slapping him four times.

The boyfriend of the other girl was also enraged and proceeded to punch him several times in his stomach, arm, chest and face. The culprit was lying on the floor by the time another male friend kicked him twice in the face, which caused his nose to bleed. The man in the group told them to stop and they left the culprit alone to have dinner nearby.

However, at 7pm, the girl told her boyfriend that if he wanted to settle the matter, he had to allow himself to be beaten up. Er, what? One-on-one fights with four other boys in the group lasting a minute each were arranged at a nearby multi-storey carpark.

The girl was there to witness the fight along with another three friends, but just as the third fight was concluding, the girl found suspicious WhatsApp messages on his phone that suggested he was cheating on her. That’s probably the straw that broke the camel’s back! She was infuriated by this and together with her friends, all four girls attacked him after the fourth fight.

They slapped, punched and kicked him, and when he fell to the ground, his enraged girlfriend stepped on his stomach and kicked him in the ribs. After this vicious beat down, the boy could only lie there as he could not stand or see properly. The girl was charged in court yesterday (May 8) and pleaded guilty to two charges of voluntarily causing hurt. Two other similar charges were taken into consideration.

The court also asked for a probation report for the girl and deputy public prosecutor Jordon Li said that the accused was still young and she had done it due to a “misguided sense to right a wrong.” The couple has since broken up.

Oh dear! While what the guy did was very wrong, the girl should have reported him to the authorities instead of taking matters into her own hands!
