There are just too many cars in Malaysia and too few parking spots to go around. So, you can imagine the struggle of trying to look for parking spots.

The people are desperate. So desperate that we are willing to park in extremely tight spaces and risk our cars getting damaged.

Recently, one driver who illegally parked their car at a towing zone at Perdana University, KL, suffered the consequences of his actions.

A video posted in the Facebook group, 我们是马来西亚人 We are Malaysians, shows a tow truck coming to pick up the car.

The car owner most likely has to pay some fine or summon to retrieve their car.

Although the driver was negatively affected by the incident, their vehicle was not.

It got a free day tour around KL, courtesy of the tow truck!

Tour

The entire journey, including the government facility where the car was dropped off, was recorded by the car’s dash cam, and netizens have mixed reactions but were mostly amused.

Netizens’ responses

Some netizens questioned why the other cars parked in front of the car that was towed away were spared.

Although this was something to laugh about, it was probably not worth the fines the car owner had to pay!
